| This club, which hosts various local PGA events, has the reputation of having a difficult course and for setting the standard for many courses in Hawaii. One of its most famous holes is its signature hole, #3, a 210-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot that must carry over 182 yards of ocean to reach the green. To make a successful shot on this hole (with the unpredictable winds coming off the ocean) is a real thrill. There are several changes in elevation on the course, highlighted by holes designed to play uphill away from the ocean. |
