        Course Description

This course was built on the side of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Hole #1 starts at an elevation of 2,100 feet and the course moves up the hill reaching the highest point at 3,000 feet. There are great views of the ocean from virtually every hole. The course is both challenging and beautiful. There are different colored Bougainvillea planted aside the cart paths between the holes which adds a nice effect to the course. There are many deep sand and grass bunkers around the greens and on the fairways. Some of the greens are narrow and long which makes it a challenge when selecting the correct club for your approach shot. The greens are also sloped or tiered which adds to the challenge. There are four holes that play uphill. While the holes are not particularly long, a severe uphill shot tends to be intimidating. The back nine measures 3,864 yards, but allows some advantage with a few downhill shots. An interesting hole is #15, a 213-yard, par 3, which requires a tee shot from an elevated tee to a green with a lake on the left and sand on the right. The interesting aspect of this hole is the spectacular panoramic view of the coastline. There is a lot of wildlife in the area and peacocks can be seen throughout the course. There are golf packages available and the club offers discounts, up to twenty percent off the published greens fee. You should check with the pro shop to see what specials are being offered. Senior discounts are available on Mondays only.
